The Dream City Church growth track is made up of four steps that equip you to connect to the church, better understand your unique strengths and gifts, develop your personal leadership, and use your God-given gifts to make a difference in the lives of others.</p> <p>The four classes that make up the Growth Track rotate each week, and we welcome you to begin when you’re able to. (There is no class on the fifth Sunday of the month). Children’s Ministry is offered during class.</p> <p>The Growth Track happens every month in four consecutive Sundays, starting with step 101 on the first Sunday of the month. We invite you to jump in at any time.</p> <h2>Get Connected Tracks</h2> <p><strong>Track 101: Beliefs and Values<br /></strong> Explore the history and ministry of Dream City Church and find out how to connect with our church’s beliefs. Track 101 takes place the first Sunday of every month.</p> <p><strong>Track 201: Momentum – the 5 G’s<br /></strong> Dive into God’s amazing grace, explore the details of His personality and how He truly sees you, discover your gifts, and see how your design reveals your purpose in life and your best fit in ministry. Track 201 takes place the second Sunday of every month.</p> <p><strong>Track 301: Discovery (personality and giftings)</strong><br /> We want to help you see how your unique personality and gifts, along with your purpose in life, are created by God for a reason. Track 301 takes place the third Sunday of every month.</p> <p><strong>Track 401: Empower (Make a difference)</strong><br /> Connect to the opportunities available at Dream City Church to live out your purpose and serve others by using your God-given gifts. Track 401 takes place the fourth Sunday of every month.</p>

Using various choreographic methods and dance styles (including theater, jazz, ballet, modern, lyrical, and more) experience an in-depth and detailed dance class in a fun, safe, embarrassment-free zone.<br /> <br /> We will…<br /> <ul><li>learn and refresh established dance and movement skills</li> <li>increase your strength and flexibility, gracefulness and confidence</li> <li>explore how physicality can improve your acting and character development</li> <li>learn dance vocabulary that will help you orient faster in auditions</li> <li>explore everything from pointed toes and turnout to powerful arms and expressiveness!</li></ul> <small>Lead Instructor: Kathleen Brazie (MA, RSME, E-RYT-200/YACEP) is an award-winning choreographer and dancer who has performed, trained, and taught in NYC, Arizona, LA, and South America. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together, face to face. That’s why we rally women to come together in their own neighborhoods and help each other through this thing called motherhood, one gathering at a time.</p> <p>Our acronym stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers” because we began in 1973 when a group of moms of young children banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys. Over the past 45 years, MOPS has expanded our reach to include moms with older kids, partnering with churches and organizations worldwide to equip and encourage moms in more than 60 countries.</p> <p>Cost: $50.00. This class will focus on development of the actor’s voice and movement, character exploration, monologue preparation, improvisation, scene partner work, and more. Designed for performers who have moderate to advanced acting experience.<br /> <br /> Lead Instructor: Mark Stoddard – has 30+ years an award-winning writer, actor, director and educator. He has written and directed over 300 theater productions and serves as the Performing Arts director at Dream City.

If so, this 8 week intensive will help you develop dance techniques in multiple dance styles used in musical theater (including jazz, ballet, contemporary, and more). You will also learn basic vocal training and technique to confidently sing age-appropriate songs from your favorite shows.<br /> <br /> Lead Instructor: Shayla Davies – has performing credits in numerous musicals, worked at Disney World, and teaches at various studios and schools in the Phoenix area. She also choreographs for Dream City productions.
***CANCELLED*** Acrylic Painting Wed, 3/6/2019 6:30 PMAll CampusesDramaWednesdays 6:30-7:45pm (March 6 – April 24)<br /> Ages: 14 and older<br /> Cost: $100 (plus supplies – see below)<br /> <br /> Description: You will learn the joy of the creative process, while allowing yourself to explore and experiment. Students will learn about perspective, color, and different painting techniques as well as how to participate in an art critique to learn and grow your work. This class will be tailored individually to each student's needs, skills and abilities - no previous experience required.<br /> <br /> Lead Instructor: April Edwards - holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the University of Kansas and has over 30 year experience in her craft. She is also a talented Costume Designer and is the Production Manager for Dream City theater productions.<br /> <br /> Materials: Students will be asked provide their own painting materials and supplies which will total about $50. Registered students will receive a list of materials and suggested places to purchase items (like Michaels, Walmart or Hobby Lobby).
Sisterhood Bible Study | SCO Thu, 3/7/2019 9:30 AMScottsdale CampusWomenJoin us for a 7 session Bible Study on the book of Gideon by Priscilla Shirer from 9:30-11am in the lobby of the Scottsdale Campus.<br /><br /> The book cost is $15 (not required) and is available at either the HUB or the Bible Study. Come and Join us for our Monthly DCMen TRIBE Breakfast for some great fellowship, food and a message that will impact you and your sphere of influence. “A Call to Serve” Guest Speaker, Pastor Ramon Montoya Pastor Ramon and his wife, Theresa Montoya, are the Pastors of N.A.N.A. Ministry and Iglesia En la Calle. They feed thousands of children and families every month, and they have brought just as many to a deeper understanding about Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Living and serving at the Phoenix Dream Center, they travel to Nogales Sonora Mexico every week to physically and spiritually feed the many people that are in need at the Nogales Dream Center Life School. She is a certified massage therapist, fitness instructor and can climb a rock wall like a spider!
