Opportunity Details

The Audio Assistant, commonly referred to as the "A2," or "Audio 2," is primarily a role for fixing emergencies during soundchecks or services that may arise in the realm of audio. This could be anything from replacing a broken cable to running a spare mic to the worship leader if their mic has an issue. This position is great for anybody that may be interested in getting more involved with audio but needs some initial training.

Physical Requirements or Special Skills: ability to crouch and crawl, ability to run, ability to lift 30 pounds, ability to wear a headset for extended periods of time, ability to communicate concisely and clearly, a teachable spirit, able to see fairly well in the dark, comfortable in loud environments, ability to stay focused for long periods of time, able to climb a ladder, must be comfortable communicating with other volunteers, church staff, and in some cases church congregation members
