The primary purpose of this role is to create a meaningful and personal connection with guests, especially first-time visitors, through prayer and conversation. The key responsibilities include welcoming and connecting with guests, engaging in friendly and genuine conversations, offering prayer, and creating a positive atmosphere. The role also involves gathering information to facilitate connections to church resources and providing information about service times, events, ministries, and programs. Essential skills and qualifications include interpersonal skills, empathy, compassion, active listening, spiritual depth, integrity, dependability, and a great attitude. Expectations for this role include attending team huddles, dressing appropriately, communicating effectively, maintaining confidentiality, and living a prayerful lifestyle with sound theology.
